To create content for your screens, you need the Lakioo Creator application
Our app LAKIOO Creator empowers you to digitalize and transform all kinds of information into engaging content. It’s intuitive and user-friendly, offering a playful environment suitable for everyone. Unlock the potential to stand out in your sector with interactive experiences tailor-made even for touch screens.
To get started you need to install LAKIOO Creator app onto your Windows 10 or 11 PC, see the section below for recommended systems specification. LAKIOO Creator includes many widgets and features for interactive and non-interactive content creation. There are other features for scheduling of project playback, or project publishing into the LAKIOO Player app by many quick and user friendly ways.
After opening the app, the Main Menu will open, it includes:

To start with creating of graphic project, just click on button “NEW PROJECT” in the MENU. Basic settings like “name project”, “resolution” etc. will follows, than you can continue. On the left side of working space you will see “media library” and “widget selection”, in the middle of screen you can see working space, on the right side you can see “properties” of used widget and “layers” of used widgets.
To insert widget to the working space just double click to the choosen widget or moove widget to working space by “drag&drop”. Add media like picture and video file to the widget by “drag&drop” or simply move theese media files to the working space directly from “media” on the left side of working space. Make double click on “text widget” and write text to the “text widget” and “scrolling text widget”. To create interactive project moove “touch widget” on the top of other “widget” and setup interactivity on the “properties” at the right side of working space. Creating graphic content by “drag&drop” is really user-friendly and creative, no technicall skill is required.
To see how does looks like your real project, just click on the “preview” button on the top right. To upload project for app Player on media player, just click to the Publish button on the right upper corner.
In order to Publish the final project, app LAKIOO Creator must be activated with a purchased license. One Creator license can only be used on one computer, if you want to use Creator on multiple computers, you must purchase a license for each computer. But one license is enough to create and distribute content to all your media players from one computer.
Lakioo player
To play your content on an LCD screen, the LAKIOO Player app is needed.
LAKIOO Player plays the content that was published from LAKIOO Creator to the LCD screen of your choice. The Player app can be installed on a standalone Media player, or the app can be installed onto media player built-in into your LCD screen. LAKIOO Player is available in Lite, Standard and Pro versions. We fully support Windows 10 & 11 based media players, as well as media players with Android 8.1 and above. For differences see the table below.
After new installation of app LAKIOO Player, it will automatically open the settings page. On the left upper you can see a few sections of settings app. First fill the license key in section “license”. Than go to the section “general settings” and fill name of player and password. Theese are the basic settings of LAKIOO Player app. All of settings have to be confirmed by button “settings apply” on the right upper corner.
You can make other settings in section “general settings” like “start with WIN”, “disable printing” and other. There are also buttons to control this app Player like PLAY, CLOSE and RESTART and buttons to control computer – like Restart and Shut-down. All of settings have to be confirmed by button “settings apply” on the right upper corner.
To start to play graphic content you need to import project. There are a few possibilities to setup source to import graphic project. It can be imported: from LAKIOO cloud, from Google or Microsoft cloud, from LAN, from USB stick and also from FTP. This kind of settings you can do in “content” section. Finally just press button “play project” on the right upper corner and it will start.
There are other section for settings – “ON/OFF schedule of player and settings to get statistic.
LITE version: We recommend to use this Player app version to play simple non-touch digital signage projects. Graphic project can contains pictures, several videos, text widgets, clock widget and also PDF widget. Graphic project can only be imported from USB stick.
License key is LIFETIME in this case.
ANDROID version: We recommend to use this version of LAKIOO Player for non-interactive graphic projects, especially ones, where content is frequently updated. This version has LAKIOO Cloud support that makes it very easy to manage and update content remotely, on multiple players at once.
License key for this version is billed anually.
STANDARD version: We recommend to use this Player app version for non-touch graphic projects, especially when you need remotely update content. In this case you can update content from LAKIOO cloud, google and microsoft cloud, LAN, FTP or USB also.
For simple non-touch project with pictures, videos, text, you can use Android based media player ( see hardware specification).
For bigger one projects with several FullHD or 4K videos. PDF, web page, scrolling text etc. use Windows based media player ( see hardware specification). License key for Standard version is for 1 year.
License key for this version is billed anually.
PRO Version: We recommend to use this Player app for bigger one interactive Touch-screen graphic projects or for sophisticated interactive projects controlled by sensors. In this case you can also remotely update content and use features of Full LAKIOO cloud, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, LAN, FTP or localy from USB stick. You can use pictures, PDFs, several FullHd or 4K videos, scrolling text, shapes, clock and other widgets for graphic content. License key for PRO version is for 1 year.
License key for this version is billed anually.
media player
Choose the media player that suits your needs. For interactive projects, we recommend a Windows media player, for non-interactive content we recommend an Android media player. Lakioo Player app can be simply and easily installed on a media player of your choice.
Minimum system specification:
i3-4200, 8 GB RAM, SSD/HDD Disk, WIN10 64 bit.
Side-note: Player may also work with different system configurations, however, with insufficient hardware, certain operations such as playback of more than 1 video or PDF document may be significantly slower.
Recommended system specification:
For optimal utilization of various software functions, we recommend using a computer with:
i5-8400, 8 GB RAM, SSD Disk, WIN10 64 bit, to ensure smooth playback of demanding graphical content. It can handle simultaneous playback of up to 6 videos per page.
We support Android versions starting 8.1 and above. For maximum stability we recommend at least 4GB of RAM and an ARM v7 CPU with 4 or more cores.
Android version of LAKIOO Player may work on older Android versions or with less than 4GB of RAM available, however, we cannot guarantee stability and smooth playback.
Display
Finally, to display the content to your customers in the best way possible, choose an appropriate LCD screen. Choose a touchscreen if your content uses touch widgets and is interactive. If your content is non-interactive digital signage, choose an LCD screen without touch capability. If you’re placing the screen inside a shop window, use a high-brightness screen, if your screen is on indoor lighting conditions, standard brightness will suffice. Choose the design you like, and decide on the installation location, whether it’s on the wall, floor, or ceiling, based on your requirements.

how to manage content with lakioo
This is the most comfortable the way how to update graphic content in your player. You can easily setup login into LAKIOO cloud directly trough Player settings, just write username and password and player is ready. Than write the same login in LAKIOO Creator in section LAKIOO Cloud and you are ready to send content from your office directly to the all of your players installed far a way. This feature is available with app Player versions STANDARD and PRO.
Due to the strict security policies of some of our client’s companies, we’ve developed remote update of content via Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. To use this feature, navigate to the “Content” tab in LAKIOO Player’s settings, and choose “Auto-import” from the dropdown menu, then choose your shared Google Drive or OneDrive folder as a local folder. After setting this up, LAKIOO Player will automatically import the latest project from this folder and will begin playing the project immediately, or at set time according to the project’s schedule. LAKIOO Player checks this folder automatically, when a new project appears, it will be imported automatically. This service is available in STANDARD and PRO player versions.
If your media players with installed app LAKIOO player are conected in the same network as your app LAKIOO Creator, you can easily update content trough this LAN. Open settings of app Player, open section “content” and mark check box “anable update over LAN”, now will be your player vissible in your network for all of app LAKIOO Creator in the same LAN. When you make Publish project in app CRREATOR choose LAN update, app will show you names of all Players in your LAN, to finish Publish you need to enter password for each Player which you are updating graphic content. Password will be automatically saved for next Publish. To disable update over LAN, disable feature “update over LAN” in Player settings. This way of content update is available with app Player version STANDARD and PRO
Update is very simple. Publish your project directly to the connected USB stick into your computer or make copy of published project from your local folder to the USB stick. Than insert USB stick to the media player with Player app installed. Project will be automatically imported to the app LAKIOO Player, graphic project will start to play automatically when import is finished. You will see message on screen, remove USB stick from media player, everything is ready. This service is available with all of app Player version LITE, STANDARD and PRO.
There are still possibilities to update content via your FTP server. For this way you need to setup your FTP server (available via your web access) to be compatiblle to settings in app LAKIOO Player.
